Been looking for a good food spot and wow, I am amazed. The host/cashier ms.Joy was so kind and treated me like family, even though it was my first time there. she accommodated me so well, listening carefully to my dietary restrictions.. food is flavorful and they packed the plate to the top. They even had to saran wrap the plate to close it hands-down 10 out of 10 if I could.

I did enjoy their food, the prices are a bit expensive though. I would definitely go back and eat there. I do encourage others to go eat, trust me the food is really good. I had the fish, omg it was fried so good and tasty, the rice and peas were pleasant, the vegetables were amazing, I loved the oxtails, and the curry goat. I love to eat, so trust me, if something is not good, I'm the first to say so.

So I randomly stumbled upon this Jamaican restaurant in the middle of Jackson Heights which was totally unexpected but I am so glad I did because wow! The oxtail plate that I had has to be some of the best oxtail I've ever had! It was so tender and flavorful that it was literally falling off of the bone. I could cut and eat it with a spoon. She also gave me a nice healthy serving of oxtail gravy as well to go on my rice and veggies which I love! The outside of the place could definitely use some help since the signage is significantly faded so it's easy to miss the restaurant if you're not looking for it. The girl behind the counter was also super helpful and courteous which was very refreshing and goes against the negative stereotypes of carribean customer service. Overall, I will definitely be back for more!

We drove there from Long Island City to try the food. My daughter had oxtails, my mom and husband shared curry chicken, stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. I don't eat meat and they ran out of fish, so I didn't order. My family loved the food. They said, everything was delicious. The cost was great. Hopefully, we get there in time for the fish. We are planning to go back.

I dont know how this restaurant doesn’t have 5 stars. Ive read previous reviews about how the service wasn’t good, but i highly disagree and had amazing service. The staff was so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered oxtail, and brown stew chicken and it is so tender you barely have to chew it. Rice and peas were cooked perfectly, and the steamed vegetables go great with the meal. Honestly one of the best oxtail dishes ive ever had. If you are hesitant on coming here, dont be. This is definitely a restaurant that is worth every penny. Just make sure to bring cash, since it is cash only...

do not let the appearance fool you! There is no seating inside, and the place is cash only, but the food is... Outstanding!!! I got the rice and peas with oxtail and without even asking me the nice lady said “how much gravy do you want?” the rice and peas taste great, and the oxtail is so flavorful. This place should be a five-star easily. I parked right across the street. EDIT: I also got a Jamaican cream soda

After searching for new food in the neighborhood, I came across this place. It was spectacular!! I had oxtails with their rice and veggies. Had to get the mac and cheese too!! The large fed 2.5 people and we were all satisfied! But I could have ate it all by myself to be honest. Loved it! Great flavor! The mac was seasoned and had pepper or jalapeno in it? Not sure but it was banging!!! Can’t wait to go back and have other dishes. By the way! I had no problem with any one, they all seemed very friendly and welcoming. Maybe the other reviewers caught them on a bad day... but to be honest? Even if they were mean to me, I’d still go back. That’s how good the food was!
